AKTI Project and Research Centre together with The International School of Paphos are organizing a celebration event in Paphos for the World Environment Day 2010, on 18th June 2010. Within this content, a poster competition has been launched for the school children titled ‘Exercise and fun on the beach, always go together!’. During the event an introduction to the Cyprus biodiversity will be presented by environmental experts of AKTI. In addition, the children’s art works will be exhibited and prizes will be awarded to the winners of the five best posters. The celebration is organized within the framework of the project ‘Youth in Action for Sustainable Living’ which is implemented with support from the European Programme Youth in Action – Action 1.2 Youth Initiative (CY-12-15-2008-R5).
