AKTI in Philippines!

AKTI was proud to support and co-organize the Pinoy Gourmet Challenge: Season 2, held at the Urbiztondo Sports Complex in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan. An inspiring celebration of food, culture, and community in the Philippines!

9 teams came together to transform local ingredients into creative dishes while promoting food waste awareness and sustainable cooking practices.

Beyond the competition, this initiative showed how gastronomy can become a powerful tool for sustainability, cultural pride, and community connection. Because reducing food waste is not just about what we throw away, it is also about valuing resources, traditions, and the people behind our food systems.
