SEALIVE: Our work in Cyprus exhibited at the EU Visitor’s Centre in Brussels!

We are excited to share that our EU-funded project SEALIVE has been selected for display at Experience Europe, the permanent exhibition at the EU Visitor’s Centre in Brussels. SEALIVE was chosen as one of only three projects from Cyprus, highlighting the impact of EU-funded initiatives.

Visitors can watch the video developed by AKTI and Isotech Ltd, partners of the SEALIVE consortium, showcasing our work addressing ghost nets by developing bio-based, industrially compostable, and marine-biodegradable fishing nets, tested in real-world conditions.

We thank the EU Visitors’ Centre for this great opportunity to highlight SEALIVE’s work in marine conservation!

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement No 862910 (SEALIVE).
