AKTI Project and Research Centre is pleased to announce the launch of the project RegenSoil: Regenerative Soil Management for Water and Climate Resilience, implemented in collaboration with the @cyprusenvironmentfoundation and ISOTECH Ltd.
RegenSoil focuses on supporting rural communities in the Larnaca region to adopt regenerative soil management practices that conserve water and address climate challenges. The project will establish a community-owned composting scheme, based on circular economy principles, transforming agricultural residues, household and community green waste, and manure into high-quality compost.
Through access to affordable compost and targeted training, the project aims to support Cypriot farmers in improving soil health, increasing water retention, tackling desertification, and strengthening the resilience of local agroecosystems.
